1. Friday night – Eat Pizza at Pete’s Apizza.

We heart Pete's.

Pete’s is one of our fav pizza places in DC. Get the Staven. You won’t regret it. Also, the Veep eats here.

Eric creeping behind VP Biden at Pete's a few months ago.

2.) Saturday Morning – Go to brunch at Cafe Saint-Ex, sit outside and enjoy a pitcher of bloody marys.

Saint-Ex holds a lot of meaning for us. I started coming here with friends when I first moved to DC in 2007, then moved across the street from Saint-Ex, started dating Eric, and it became our brunch place. It’s also the place Eric realized I was his soul mate.

Saint-Ex's old bloody mary mix was our favorite in DC. They recently changed it and we didn't like their new recipe one bit. Luckily, the bartender took pity and made us a special batch of the old recipe.

We always share Fried Green Tomato Eggs Benedict, Sweet Fries, and bacon.

The Elvis - oreo crust, peanut butter, banana cream, caramel infused with bacon, and strawberries. I know it doesn't look pretty, but if you're at Saint-Ex get it. Trust us!

3.) Saturday Afternoon -Use almost expired Groupon to do touristy things like go to Madame Tussauds. Have fun with the wax figures.

4.) Saturday Night – Meet friends in the suburbs and go Duckpin Bowling.

Everyone love Duckpin Bowling, even Babe Ruth!

I almost beat Eric. (Not really. Not even close.)

Bowling with mini balls and pins is much more fun than regular bowling! P.S. - Why is Eric ALWAYS inappropriate?

5.) Sunday Morning – Be responsible. Start packing and go to nonprofit strategy meeting for Collective Action for Safe Spaces.

This is about all the packing we've done. Our apartment is a mess right now! Why pack when you blog about not packing?

6.) Sunday Afternoon – Relax at the drum circle in Malcolm X Park.

Hanging with our good friend Jackson at the drum circle.

We are still in denial that we are leaving next week. We are going to miss DC so much!
